Shine Relief Trust collaborates with communities in Malawi to provide essential resources and support. This organization plays a crucial role in the expanding orphan care network in a region in dire need of hope and divine love. This is especially important for children who have suffered the loss of parents or loved ones and are grappling with the impacts of disease, injustice, exploitation, and extreme poverty. Our mission is to empower community groups by offering physical and spiritual care, enhancing educational support, initiating income-generating projects, empowering women, and promoting children's rights.
In the villages of Kuntumanji, many children are left without food, education, and basic health care. Traditionally, African communities have absorbed orphaned children, but the overwhelming AIDS crisis has resulted in many "child-headed families." Shine Relief Trust works closely with Social Welfare and the Area Development Committee to ensure the most vulnerable are supported at Shine Village and through Community-Based Organizations.
